Last night we were named Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy of the Year at CIPR Awards.
We scooped the top award after winning gold in the Healthcare category earlier in the evening for online GP service PushDoctor.
The accolade comes just a year after we were crowned Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy at the same awards. The business’ rapid growth over the last 12 months has seen revenue double and 10 new people join the team, making the agency eligible for the main award for the first time.
The CIPR judges were impressed with PR Agency One’s evaluation, staff development and business strategy which they said were “clearly paying dividends”.
PR Agency One was set up five years ago by me because I wanted to launch a unique offering fusing traditional and digital communications with measurable outcomes. The agency, which employs 22 people, is currently expanding its Chorlton base to allow for further growth.
It’s been a huge year for PR Agency One having welcomed lots of new faces and delivered some amazing results for our clients. We’ve barely had a chance to reflect on how far the business has come.
While we don’t define our success by the awards on our shelf, the Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy of the Year is a real milestone for us. To win this just five years after I launched with just myself and my laptop is a ‘pinch-yourself’ moment.
